Lately, more than 2 weeks ago, we the Nicaraguans have been all over the media and the internet. People living at La Chureca biggest garbage dump in Central America have been fighting to control, yes, the garbage. Christian ministries are working hard to bring support and relief but they seem intent on living the way they are despite all the good intentions to extract them from so pitiful circumstances.
Christians flock to offer at least a once in a while decent lunch to the children who sorely survive in there with their relatives. A heart of God in Action! Blessed be the feet of those who bring good news and support!
Blessed, too, those led by the Mind of God to support other children, who, as the leaders of the future, will hold the responsibility to heal the land and the dispossessed!
The Harvest Vineyard church team who is visiting us has been led by the Heart and the Mind of God to faithfully serve. They have been at the dump working with other ministries in bringing relief to those children. They have also been with us in our homes in Managua and Jinotepe. Pictures are worthier than a thousand words.
We all together visited the work of another local Vineyard church planting effort in the rural town of La Concha attending their Sunday service on the way to our homes in Jinotepe to share a few days with the boys and younger girls over there
And they joined the Lake Charles Vineyard group for a typical nacatamales dinner before departing
